The staff was very helpful, from the minute we arrived until we left. They gave us a great sightseeing itinerary, and made sure we were comfortable.

close to the historic part of town but like us you could take the wrong turning and end up downtown dirty and noisy. Nice to have a kitchen and a free and easy atmosphere. Ask the staff before you go out for advice they are really helpful.

Staff were always very friendly and tried to help as much as possible. Large "living room" with TV and a good kitchen. Breakfast could be better, but for Italian standard and 17 Euro it was alright, I liked the curtains around the beds, that give you some privacy, each bed had a lamp. Negative: The description should mention the name of the busstop where you leave the bus. They don't know the hostel, so I was left off at the beginning of Via del Plebiscito and had to walk 2 km . It is actually quite clean, but in my room there was a big spot of fungus (or is it mildew?) under the ceiling, luckily not on the side of the beds but on the other side. If you are sensitive against noise at night you shouldn't come here (like any hosel). The walls are little thicker than paper - not pleasant when a bunch og hooligans comes home at four in the morning (earplugs might help). Altogether I can recommend the hostel, I'd go there again if I ever return to Catania.

Situated a few minutes from some of Catania's main sites, the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble for them. On arriving late after travelling from Palermo one of the staff made me a welcome cup of tea. I used Catania as my base for visiting Mount Etna, Taormina, Syracuse & Noto. Kind Regards John Baxter.

One of the staff just had a bad day - not the way to address and welcome guests. Parking in the area is questionable - on the street - did not look a safe area although we were told it was. Car weas still there next morning, but considered not to visit the hostel in the future.

We make reservation for the hostel it was overbooking and they send us to an apartment in a very strange place with a very poor breakfast and dirty bulding and now key to safe your room...

Very friendly staff, especially Marcello who took my heavy suitcase up the stairs into the room with me and remembered my name every time he saw me, and this other guy whose name I did not catch. This hostel was so easy to find! It was the easiest to find actually! The beds are great and I love how each person has a little bedside table. The showers could use a little hook or basket/tray for soap and shampoo bottles, though. The shower doors also need a little repair as water seeps out and more restocking of toilet paper would be good. Overall it was still a very good hostel!
