An amazing location! My room was a delight! The staff were friendly and helpful. This was one of the few hostels I have not previously visited in Brittany and its location simply took my breath away. Sadly, the 'Brittany rain' descended on my arrival(and during the remainder of my stay but it did not detract at all from the sheer pleasure of staying at such a unique hostel in a fabulous location. Recommend 100% sans doute!

Great location, right on the coastal trail, helpful staff. `only problem, the mattress on my bed was done==had a great dip in the middle, it was back killing. `other than that, great.

Pros: The hostel was great, amazing view, staff always nice and friendly (also to French not-speaking persons). Cons: little bit out of town (it would be useful to indicate on the website that if you arrive by train, you'll have to catch a bus)

The cancale hostel is amazing.Is all perfect, maybe just a connection with the city is not very good, because there was few bus in the day that connect, cancale hostel to st malo.

Absolute quality. The manager was very friendly and helped me figure out the bus system. This hostel is one of a kind. The breakfast was great, and the facilities were very clean. Who can beat the location, either?
Hostel Overview
Set close to the centre of this traditional oyster harbour, the hostel is located in a natural protected area, on a beach... This unique setting is a good base for exploring the MONT SAINT MICHEL, ST MALO, DINAN, the emerauld coast, the Chausey Islands and the the Anglo-Normand Islands. Activities range from sailing to sail-kart, hiking and bird watching in the nearby ornithological reserve. Accommodation is in 1-8 bedded rooms and facilities include kitchen and meal service.
