I liked this hostel very much for all the reasons above, but there is no provision for locking anything. I didn't have any bad experience, so maybe there is just no need for that. I think a bigger problem is that there is no kitchen. I look forward to being able to cook when we stay in an HI hostel.

Safes or lockers in the rooms would have been preferable, especially for people travelling alone. Overall, a great experience, although breakfast wasn't so great - there was little choice other than dry toasts and jam, and it seemed that as soon as the food was gone, there was nothing else to replenish it, even with an hour left of breakfast. Even some cereal or fruit would be good!

Room service was extremely poor; no toilet tissue for two days. When we asked the front desk to give us an extra roll, they simply told us that we wouldnt be able to receive any until the next morning...clean, but would not recommend staying here on the off season when things are slow.

Breakfast was included. I left early in the morning and had been promissed a bag with some breakfast. When that morning came, no bag no breakfast. They said taht they forgot me!? Bad, very bad. Keep your promiss!!!! Or give some money back, som that one can by ones own breakfast.

we really apologise for the inconvenient ... usually when a customer asks for breakfast in the evening before the departure, the staff from the bar give directly the packed-breakfast. We are really sorry they didn't prepare it for you and we already asked them not to make it happen again and to hold promises!!! Central location, roomy dormitory, internet availability and breakfast provision were all a highlight. Would be nice to have smoking banned in the courtyard area, as this was the only WiFi area.

Our flights were cancelled due to a strike in Italy. I emailed the hostel to cancel our booking but my email was rejected as your server had been administratively disabled. I do not expect to have my deposit refunded, but I would have appreciated an acknowledgement of my email attempt to cancel the booking

The hostel had a great location in the center of the city, staff was very nice and friendly and the rooms were huge. It would have been nice to have a guest kitchen but eating out was not so expensive so it was ok.
