Went there because of a flyer saying that you could stay there for 2 nights incl horsebackriding for 95 pesos. It was excl horsebackriding and it was 55 pesos per night! It says to experience the gaucho culture, there were no gauchos at all, there were 2 french and a dutch girl working!! Not at all what they promise you on the flyer/website!!!! The flyer also promise you that you can help and work with the animals, that one isn't true as well!!
Hostel Overview
Puesto Viejo Estancia-Hostel is surrounded by nature, almost untouched, as far as you can see, with a wonderful and crystal clear river with sand beaches that enables you to enjoy our valley´s warm and sunny microclimate.It is ideal for those who love horse riding, farm animals and hiking, as well as expressions of Creole, gaucho and indigenous culture.
It is an additional pleasure to share the table and the delicious traditional meals with the welcoming owners of the Estancia and with the guides, because nobody is better able than the inhabitants of Argentina to explain the rich history of the place and the typical customs of the inhabitants.
The activities such as horse riding and trekking are done within and around the private natural reserve with 775 hectares, at the banks of the River Ayampitin, immersed in the beautiful landscape of Córdoba Mountain Range, in the centre of Argentina.
