The down side first, but really not that down. The hostel is a good 20 minute walk from "the action" of tourist sights and night life but it is a pretty walk along or through the park and there is metro stop about 5 blocks away that make it an easy trip. The folk at the desk are very willing, knowledgeable, and friendly; use them, they are great! The included breakfast is great as well. Overall, excellent place and money well spent.

I thought the room was clean and the bed comforatble. The showers and toilets were also clean. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The evening meal was very good value for money and I enjoyed eating there two nights. The only criticism I may have is that there was a loud echo that could be heard in my room whenever other hostellers were talking in the long corridors.

Not an enjoyable stay. No towels, and when I asked about a towel, I was told I had to buy a towel. I was told that there was free internet available downstairs in the lobby, that was a lie. Only paid internet available, even with my own MacBook Pro. The elevators in the building were for only employee use. Security was non-existant. Anyone from the street would have full access to the building. The atmosphere was foreboding. The only thing good I can report is that the room and facilities were clean and modern, and the breakfast was good.

Front desk was a little rude to me, hence the downgrade on friendliness. Also did not think the internet set up was convenient--most hostels have included free wifi for a hostel of this price. Also location kind of far from everything despite being near potzdamer plats

Correct hostels for student groups or workers looking for a cheap place to sleep, but totally unsuitable for backpackers looking for a fun place to stay. Young drunk students listening to shitty pop music were especially annoying. Internet was not included. The hostel was 30 minutes of walk from "center" and 15 minutes from closest metro station.

Too noisy! Wi-fi should be included in price, for the volume of guests you have it must be very inexpensive. You should use BIO COFFEE in the cantina. Thanks, Stephen Taranto

Paying for wireless internet that's not available in the rooms was the biggest downside for me, but not a big deal. Otherwise, I had a very nice stay in a clean, comfortable room. I especially enjoyed the large breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful. As a suggestion, the availability of a small kitchen or refrigerator/ food storage area would also perhaps be a nice addition. I would stay here again, especially for the small price! Thanks!

| Rail: | After arrival at Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) leave the building through “Washingtonplatz” Exit. Take bus M85 (direction S-Lichterfelde Süd) to Lützowstraße/Potsdamer Straße. From there turn right into Lützowstraße, next to the right is Kluckstraße. Now you are in front of our hostel with the 3 flags. You are home again! Metro busses run all through the night. |
