A very good big equitment and clean kitchen. The surrounding very good and the stay very cheap. The bed was ok. The bedroom for 5 women with a washing basin.

staying with a family is not cheap. Staff in Beer acually pointed out that the reservation was for the adult rate in stead of the family rate. Nicely done.

Excellent location in a lovely coastal village served by Jurassic Coast Bus Service X53 (bus stop short walking distance from hostel)...I am all for public transport and no cars.

Hostel Overview

This beautiful Victorian house is now a four star hostel, ten minutes walk to the peaceful and picturesque village of Beer and its stunning beach. Great for families, groups and individuals it offers a wide range of food, local ales, cider and wine.

This arts and crafts house with child-friendly facilities has a large terraced lawn garden on the edge of the village of Beer. Activities nearby include mackerel fishing and safe sea swimming at the beach, fossil hunting and scuba diving, as well as walking the South West Coastal Path.
