The kitchen smells strongly of chip fat, which I found overpowering.

Facilities were good but as I mentioned in another feed back this was one of the hostels which did not use sheets nor pillow cases - not issued, for hire nor expected - I was appalled at this lack of basic hygiene!

Beach Haven Hostel is a unique and inviting family run hostel close to everything in Tramore and Waterford City. We are right in the heart of it all just steps from the beach and the town centre of one of Irelands most delightful seaside resorts just seven miles South of Waterford City.Beach Haven is situated right in the heart of it all, just steps from Tramore beach and amusements. The house has just been completely re modeled and tastefully redecorated inside and out with attention to detail and your comfort in mind.
Beach Haven Holiday Hostel is fully approved by Failte Ireland and is by far the best budget accommodation in the Waterford area and a great base for exploring the Southeast.
The Hostel is just the right size to accommodate most groups without being too big. We provide personnel welcome and with only 34 beds in the Hostel, here is enough elbowroom for everyone to relax and feel at home!
Your gracious hosts Niamh & Avery pride themselves in providing a friendly and completely relaxed atmosphere in your home away from home.
Beach Haven boasts all the usual characteristics of an excellent hostel with self catering kitchen, laundry facilities, comfy TV lounge, outdoor patio with BBQ, free private parking and also some stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean!

| Bus: | Public Bus-take the number 360 from Waterford City to Tramore. Alight at the 1st bus stop past the main terminus. For National Buses-take a bus to Waterford City and then the 360 to Tramore |

| Sea port: | From Rosslare, take the N 25 to Waterford and then the R675 to Tramore |
| Location: | Tivoli Terrace, Tramore, Co Waterford. Once you reach Tramore, the hostel is situated 300 metres past the second roundabout on the left |
