Staff in charge after office hours should have better understanding of English. It is quite a disappointment. Receptionist is the front line and should have better understanding of international language so that can give good impression to customer. Staff during office hours are fairly good.

The location was perfect. Close to two train lines, city bank, soi cowboy, many shops, etc... and it was easy to catch a taxi or a motorcycle in front of it. One staff is sleeping at the entrance 24h, so you can consult her anytime. Felt sorry to wake her up every time I came back late, though... Nice hot shower, air conditioner(available if there is more than two people in the room), refrigerator were in the room, and lockers(bring a padlock) in the hall way. Relatively clean as a hostel in Bangkok. Will use the facility again.

My stay was are very comfortable especially by the manager at the time, Sarinkan her name was I think. She went an extra mile to make her customers feel comfortable.

The hostel didn't have my details at checkin and I had to help the staff with the members' discount. Clean and comfortable but quite sterile and institutional.

I arrived late in Bangkok after a flight. It was about 11pm when I came to check in. The staff looked at me like they had no clue why I was there. Then they turned to one of the guestes and argued quite aggressively with them about something. When they finally payed attention to me I told them I was here to check in and they had no clue what i was saying. They had to call in another staff member who without greeting or smile asked me for a print out of my booking. I told him the site I booked it on said i just needed my confirmation number. He decided i would clear this up with the owner in the morning. The next day the ownner suggested i get the receipt printed. We settled on my emailing it to her. It was awekward asking for advice or even dropping laudry off because sometimes there were no staff members on duty who could speak english what so ever.

A man was let into our 6 bed female dorm to use the shower and the staff had to be reminded every time the bin needed emptying. The floor wasn't cleaned in the time we stayed there and there was no communal area. All in all not great value but nothing horrendous

I stayed at the hostel in a single room and really enjoyed it. The staff was extremely patient and friendly. The place looks so clean and tidy. Will definitely go back. A bit tricky to get to though. From the exit, turn left and at the junction turn left (don't cross at the traffic light!) pass the thair restaurants, pubs. On the 2nd/3rd street you'll see the hostel with the italian restauant beside it. Remember that they have breakfast!

Location is great, in a walking distance to overhead train and subway station. Day-staff was friendly but night wasn't. There was air-cond in the dorm room but since I was staying alone so they didn't turn it on. In stead I was using an electric fan. There was a good fridge and a bad TV in the room. Most of all, the room rate that I reserved from internet was somehow cheaper than walk-in rate. I have to pay more expensive when I asked to stay longer. They said the internet rate wasn't update.

( no more than 65bt.for toll fee depending on the direction.) taxi meter is only on the airport first floor. For those who first time arrival to Bangkok, I do recommended to take a taxi meter. After arrival at the hostel we'll advice you to other transports. If you want to take airport bus pls. take no.AE3 to Sukumvit soi 18 bus stop on main street,(cost 150bt./person) then walk accross the walking bridge to Sukhumvit soi 25 (infront of the hostel) |
