Hostel Overview
Aomori - Moya Kogen Youth Hostel is located in Moya Kogen with a view of Aomori City. This hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Japan. The Hostel is located nearby many attractions in Moya Kogen.The hostel is located on Route 103, which leads to Sukayu hot springs, Oirase Keiryu and Lake Towada. Nearby attractions include Moya Hills ski area, "Nebuta hometown" where Nebutas are seen all year round, and the Sannai-Maruyama site. Moya Kogen is also known as a night view spot with a view of Mutsu-wan, Shimokita peninsula and Tsugaru peninsula in daytime. In the west is a magnificent view of Mt. Iwaki that is called Tsugaru Fuju. Please visit Aomori, a wonderful place in the north. Aomori cypress is used for the hostel, making a relaxing atmosphere. Please come to a homey youth hostel by all means. Meals are avaliable in the cosy dining room: Breakfast 600 JPY, Supper 1,100 JPY (include tax). A variety of drinks are avaliable from homemade herbal tea, local brand beer, Irish beer and Irish cocktail.
It is possible to go to Mt. Hakkoda, the Oirase mountain stream and Lake Towada with JR bus from Moya Kogen YH. Japan Rail Pass holder can take JR bus without additional charges. Please come to experience nature in Aomori. Seasons & YH member’s prices (include tax): 3,300 JPY. Please be advised there is an additional heating charge: November 1~ April 10 - 200 JPY. Non-members supplement: 600 JPY

| Bus: | From JR Aomori Sta. Bus-stop #1 or #4, take a bus for Moyahills or Villacity Moya for 37min get off at Moya-kogen (590JPY). The YH is just nearby (50m). ------------------------------------------------ 10 daily bus services to Moya Kogen. More frequent services to Aomori Public College. If you cannot take the last bus, please contact YH. 【Bus Timetable (1 April 2012)】 【From Aomori Station (JR #1, city bus #4) to Moya Kogen】 (Bus stop#1 *6:20-6:58), (#1 *7:40->8:19), (#4 9:20->9:53), (#1 11:20->11:59), (#4 13:45->14:18), (#4 15:15->15:48), (#1 16:30->17:09), (#1 *18:40->19:18) *No service on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and from August 13 to August 17. The last bus from Aomori Station to Public College leaves bus stop No.4 at 20:55.If you ordered a supper, take Aomori Station 16:30 bus(Bus stop No. 1) if possible.
