My friend and I were only in Andorra for one night so we were fine with just hanging out up in the mountains. However, if you do not have a car it is somewhat inconvenient to get into the main town from the hostel - there is a bus but it only makes the run to the hostel 4 times a day I believe. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities very spacious and nice (large common room). We were not aware that you had to make dining reservations 24h before which was annoying when we were hungry and thought we could get a good lunch before heading out! A large group of children came in for lunch and the staff were completely wrapped up in that for a good 20 minutes and indispensable to call us a taxi. Overall a good place to stay if you have a vehicle/are there to ski.

Very friendly staff, the location above Andorra-La-Vella is perfect if you want to escape the shopping tourism hell in the valley... During winter perhaps not very cozy - guess this is different in summer when there is the possibility to sit outside while having barbecue.

The hostel is beautifully situated high on the mountainside above Andorra la Viella. It is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean when I was there. There are several good waymarked walks starting nearby, including one leading down to the town in 25 minutes.

Staff didn't speak English, but were ready to help with hiking advice, post offices, and last-minute meals (although their directions for how to walk to town were confusing!). The hostel is right next to some lovely hiking trails, but is far out of town (up a VERY steep walking trail) and the bus to/from town only runs 4x a day. In summer the hostel was almost deserted, we had a whole dorm room to ourselves. The views of the sunset and the mountains from the deck are beautiful!

Super clean hostel, with everything (rooms, bathroom, lobbies) shining like new. IMPORTANT!! Check the website, and look at the schedule for the communal bus that goes to the hostel (only 4 times every day. You need this bus, and if you do not know where to take the bus, call or email the hostel. You can take the trail from the hostel to the city, but taking the trail on the way up with a backpack can be a challenge. Mad shout outs to Marc and Marc, who helped with my stay and gave incredible information on Andorra la Vella and really made my stay extraordinary. I will be back, and hope to bring others here in the future!

There is only a bus out from town every four hours so this s a place for people with a car or the very well rganised!
