Hostel Overview
Located in the city of Alicante. It has a TV room, multipurpose rooms, a library, a sports ground and a large glazed hall. During most of the year, most of the places are reserved for University students residences. Alicante is a coastal city, with a port, a great promenade and other culturaly attracitve places, and it has an average annual temperature of 1ºC.Hostel bed capacity

Opening times (daily/weekly):
The reception is open 24/7. The coffee bar works from 12h00 pm to 12h00 am and has vending machines with soft drinks, water, coffee and snacks.
Opening times (over the year):
We are open all year round, except December 24th, 25th and 31st and January 1st. A Hostelling International membership card is required. If you do not have one, you can get it at the reception.

| Bus: | The local bus line 3 stops in front of the hostel and connects with the center of Alicante. The working hours are extensive. At the weekends the working hours increase until the early morning for some of the lines, mainly the ones connecting Alicante with the suburbs. Rate: 1,15 €. There are passes for local transport called Mobilis. |
| Parking: | There is no parking inside the hostel but there is a set up area for loading and unloading. It is possible to get to the hostel by car through the Motorway AP-7, which covers the province from the southwest to the northeast, connecting to the north with Valencia y to the south with Murcia and Andalucia. It is also possible to access through the Road A-31 that connects with Madrid. |

| Location: | The hostel is located in "La Florida" neighbourhood, in a quiet area of Alicante, yet near the city center. You can walk or take the bus, which also drops you near the beach. |

| Airport: | El Altet Airport is 14 km from the city of Alicante. The bus line that connects Alicante with the airport is line C-6. From La Florida Hostel you need to use the local bus line 03 that connects with that line. The stops to connect both lines are located near Plaza de los Luceros or RENFE train station. There are bus stops in front of the arrival and departure gates. Timetable: from 5h30 am to 11h10 pm every 20 minutes. Rate: 2.70 €. |
