This was my favourite hostel in Australia! It's located on the main street, only 5 min walk to the lagoona and next to all restaurants. The staff are really nice. They had a $10 lamb and veggies dinner, which was awesome. Helped me get discounted trips too

Staff were particularly helpful in keeping my luggage and documents secure while I went sailing on a 3 day package. I was able to shower afterwards even though I wasn't booked in at that stage, which was most helpful and made my onward journey more comfortable. Thank you.
Hostel Overview
Airlie Beach YHA is located close to the beach and within one minute walk of the towns famous nightlife. The YHA offers a quiet retreat from the exciting activities on offer. It has a spacious kitchen, TV and dining rooms and an in-ground pool. The hostel offers multi-share, double and twin rooms with private balconies. All hostel rooms are air-conditioned.Airlie Beach is your gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Sail around the islands, take a day trip to the reef, go snorkelling in the fringing reefs, get an aerial view with a scenic flight or visit Whitehaven Beach. Bookings can be made with YHA Travel at reception.
Rates quoted are standard non-member rates. YHA / HI members receive 10% discount at check-in.
