It was a little annoying to have to reevaluate the key card daily. However, it wasn't too much trouble so long as you returned during the day.

This hostel doesn't have lockers in the rooms, lockable doors on showers and no free wifi.

Nearby attractions include the Maritime Museum, Art Gallery and Old Aberdeen dating back to the Middle Ages. From its bustling harbour ferries leave for Orkney and Shetland.
