The breakfast was good and a good selection. The Bar offered snacks. It also had a Kettle for hot water. But no self catering kitchen. Suggest that staff se if they can set a S/C/Kitchen up-similar to that in Lugano Hostel |

Tschingg: they do amazingly good value (like 7CHF) pasta you can eat in or take away. Tastes really yummy too!! (at Schaffhauserstrasse 353) |

Buy a day ticket at the hostel and catch a boat going to the city Also, there is a lovely beach next to where you catch the boat which is good for swimming and sun bathing. |

There is a bar with a big skeleton hanging in it that's in the guide book in the lobby. It's worth the trip if you're young and want to be around a ton of other young folks. |

HI Hostel ZürichThe hostel is in a quiet, residential area near Lake Zurich and 15 minutes by tram to the city centre, with its charming old streets and wealth of museums. The "Rote Fabrik" cultural centre in Wollishofen, offering avant-garde concerts, theatre and discos, is within walking distance.There is capacity for 281 guests and facilities include TV.
