Sems the Crown pub is the best option. Full of locals. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thought the George was a bit strange. |

HI Hostel St Briavel's Castle YHA A 13th-century medieval castle, complete with round towers and moat, the hostel makes a good base for visiting the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey are nearby. Accommodation is in 4-6+ bedded rooms and facilities include kitchen and evening meals. From March 1st 2006 breakfast will be included.
