Plenty of small shops within St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. The hostel sits between two pubs and a few doors away from a Pizza Express. Aside that there are all the usual fast food places within a 2 minute walk. YOu are spoilt for choice. If you don't want one of the big chains then head off of Euston Road and up some of the side streets and I am sure you will find what we are looking for. |

The Tower of London was amazing. I am a graduate student specializing in Elizabethan music, and it was amazing to see carvings made by important figures of the period in the Beauchamp tower. Also, go to the Globe theater. They have a wonderful museum, great food, and amazing shows. In 2000, I was lucky to see Vanessa Redgrave in the male lead of the Tempest (now a movie with Helen Mirren in that role). |
