A trip to Meigle to visit the early Christian/Pictish stones that were rescued from a churchyard was a discovery that doesn't seem to be greatly advertised in Pitlochry. This trip did take us on some secondary roads that were quite narrow, but the countryside was very beautiful in August. Also visited Scone Palace while staying at Pitlochry - a must for those wanting to learn more about Scottish royalty. |
