While there's afair choice in Hawes for somewhere to eat I found the 'White Stag" particulalrly good in terms of food, beers and atmosphere |

| HI Hostel Hawes YHA The hostel is in a modern building close to the town of Hawes. It provides easy access to the Yorkshire Dales and local attractions range from Hardraw Force waterfalls a short walk away to Bolton Castle and White Scar Caves. There is capacity for 54 guests and facilities include laundry, kitchen and evening meals.
