By far the best option near the hostel is Jesmond Road. Perfect location for a pub crawl....you can't visit Newcastle without spending an evening there. And its only a couple minute walk from the hostel! |

Fort Segedunum has a lot of Roman history - or walk the hadrians wall path along the river. Go to outlet mall in Royal Quays (metro: percy main and 10 minute walk) right at the ferry boat. |
