Went to Uig on northern tip of Isle of Skye. Very beautiful trip...Uig hostel more rustic than city hostels which many hostellers love. |

The self-catering kitchen is extra, so don't hesitate to cook there! You can shop at Somerfield, on Union Street. Take bus number 14 and you'll stop right in front of the store. If you want to dine out, go to Wetherspoons, set in Archibald Simpsons'building, at the corner of Union st and King st, food is delicious and the "cask ales" are amazing! |

You can go to Belmont Street, a small pedestrian street across Union Street, just opposite the shopping mall (HMV, etc). There are very good spots to make friends, such as Revolution (vodka bar), Triple Kirks or Slains (set in former churches!) or dance at the Priori (free). If you go to the corner of Union St and King St, Snafu is a very good address too. |

Go to the University, I love that place! You can also walk to Seaton Park next to the St Machars cathedral: lovely! |
