Budget Meals Evening and Night Time Entertainment Visitor Attractions Where To Go Next
Don't miss... 21 Mar 2009 Lorraine, USA:
Take a gondola rides and pass by Cassanova's window and Marco Polo's house. The fish market is a great place to see locals on the weekend, even sitting in Campo Santa Margherita on a weekend is great. Have a typical Venetian drink called spritz if your old enough! Also go to a wine bar across the canal from the gondola ship yard and pick up a few Venetian snacks (cichetti), this place is packed with the locals.
For good eats check out... 16 Mar 2009 James, England & Wales:
Meals are 4 euros but not brilliant, microwaved, backpakers might find a ten euro dinner at a resteraunt too expensive, but over the river near the hill to the pilazzo Michelangelo there is a reasonable supermarket that will send everything you need
For great nightlife try... 16 Mar 2009 James, England & Wales:
Nigt entertainment is expensive if your backpacking but if you have nearer to 50 euros per day (at least) then all museums and take-away sweets and lovely resteraunts placed every ten feet will be very welcoming for a wanderful stay in Florence (as you could easily spend 2 weeks here without venturing out of the rather small city
Don't miss... 16 Mar 2009 James, England & Wales:
Dont miss the Ufizi and museum accademia and also the medici palace. Wright a list of all the sculptures you wish to see and go visit them as they wont be far from the centre. Make sure you go i n and climb the bell tower and the Duomo dome! I went on a 60euro Tuscany bike tour for the day including looking in a castle where there is fine wine and olive oil made which you can buy at a much reduced price (aa real must as a souvenier) and the biking wasnt too touch either
16 Mar 2009 James, England & Wales:
I would, if you have time, strongly suggest a day visit to Pizza and to Sienna, erhaps even Peruggia and Assiss if you get up early enough to spend the day there. Or just go for a work or bike ride in the Tuscany surroundings, just remember to ring glasses and a sun hat!
For good eats check out... 15 Mar 2009 De Rijck, Belgium:

For good eats check out... 12 Mar 2009 Mercedes S., Spain:
