Padova is only a little way down the train line and very cheap to get to and it does have the first Botanic garden in the world, but take care it closes at 1.00pm until 3.00pm |

Verona was beautiful and the hostel lovely and peaceful, the Giusti Gardens are quite close by and there is a lovely walk to fantastic views over Verona |
