get huge slabs of pizza from take away stores near popular tourist locations - do walk down the little side alleys as it is worthwhile for the treasures you might find! avoid restaurants with menus in 12 different languages as the prices are inflated for us tourists |

the obvious s marco and rialto, but if you got time i recomend you to get lost in the narrow venetian streets and discorver the real venezia |

the friendliest country i have been to is slovenia- both ljubljana and bled were fantastic! krakow and zakopane in poland were also incredible places and i would definately recommend Prague |

If you want a cheap place to stay in Venice, stay at "A Venice Fish", which is where I stayed on my last night. The staff is really friendly, and the environment is cozy and the hostel is really clean. Oh, and by the way, dinner is included and they cook really well ;) |

Get an unlimited vaporetto ticket while you're in Venice so you can ride around as much as you like and see the city from different angles. Also go to the islands opposite to view the city across the water. |
