The location is good, if you want to visit the medina only. It is a bit of a taxi ride away from the new part of Tunis and you will definitely want to take a taxi back to the hostel if you stay out late at night. |

HI Hostel Tunis Ideally located in the SAIDA AJOULA (name of a saint woman) street, and close to the historical heart of the city of Tunis, the colourful and sweet-smelling souks, the Medina and the shopping centres, our typical hostel is quiet and relaxed.
Don't hesitate to come in, and you'll arrive in a ceramic patio, where the Andalusian coolness is in harmony with the Arab-Muslim openness.
In nicely furnished bedrooms, you'll admire the Tunisian appeal and you will enjoy its elegant PAST.
After endlessly constructive strolls, full of culture, through the pedestrian alleyways of the Medina, under the Mediterranean sun, this peaceful and cool haven will seem to have fallen from heaven.
Our cuisine is refined and inventive, Tunisian and international, and offers a subtle mix of tastes and flavours. Our lunch small dishes will enchant every palate.
