| HI Hostel Traenlaur Lodge, Co Mayo YHA Originally a fishing lodge, with its own harbour, over looking Lough Feeagh in a really beautiful area of Mayo. Some of the ground floor rooms have flagstone floors. Great walking, cycling, fishing, and swimming on the lake, wonderful peace and solitude. The hostel is situated on the crossroads of the Western Way and the Bangor Trail. Within walking distance of the Youth Hostel are items of historical and archaeological interest, such as Ring Forts, a Castle, an Abbey, Holy Wells and Mass Rocks. | more...... |
