HI Hostel Tivedstorp

Tivedstorp is a village in the midst of Tiveden, a fairytale woodland on the border between Västergötland and Närke. The historical area from the 1600s is well preserved with traditional wooden fences, hay meadows and turf roofs. Culture and handicraft skills are kept alive here. At the hostel you breathe Tiveden’s magical atmosphere and live in comfortable rooms or cabins in an old-fashioned environment. Self-catering facilities and sauna rental is offered. Tiveden’s National Park is at your doorstep with some of southern Sweden's most beautiful native forests. Tivedstorp is a good starting point for long walks along the Bergslagsleden trail and the Kyrkstigen church trail. From here it is also possible to go horse trekking along the 200 km riding route through Tiveden. Or why not take the bike past Tiveden’s many attractions? Vitsand’s child-friendly beaches and Fagertärn’s red water lilies are within easy cycling distance. | more......
