A litt;e rstaurant down the road called Lilie La Formule? 14 Blvd Iturn? 0662255593 lunchtime. The only hospitality I experience in Tarascon even though the English guy from Totnes with guilt on his face made me a tea on arrival. His threatening suggestion 'Well do you want to stay or not!' was quite perplexing as was his sucking up to the two French people staying in the hostel.

You can use kitchen in the hostel, along with refridgerator and all cooking utilities.
For great nightlife try... 04 Sep 2009 Colin, England & Wales:
Try sitting and listening to Greg complaining about people like me ringing the hostel and practising his poorly pronounced French as he does this. If your English I doubt you'll have much pull there.
Don't miss... 04 Sep 2009 Colin, England & Wales:

The "Bar des Loisirs" next door is good for kebab and turkey. However, you have to speak French (or Arabic), otherwise you are lost.
Don't miss... 21 Jul 2009 Emily, USA:
Aix-en-Provence was my fave of this area. But try out the random stops on the trains from Tarascon to Avignon. They are cute charming Provencal villages -all worth your time if you have it.
For good eats check out... 25 Jun 2009 Brent, USA:
There is a supermarket called the Super U that is between the hostel and the train station that has lots of good food for good prices.
For good eats check out... 14 Jul 2009 Jakub, Poland:
