26 Jun 2011 Silvia, Italy:
Les Baux, St Rémy, Pont du Gard and all the region are definitely worth seeing! |

21 Apr 2011 William, England & Wales:
The Château Royal is worth looking around, although it won't take you a particularly long time. A good recommendation I had from the hostel owner was the ruined castle of Beaucaire, within walking distance from the centre of Tarascon. |

From Tarascon, various other towns can be reached very quickly and easily - Nimes, Avignon and Arles are all very nice! |

the chateau in tarascon is absolutely amazing! best medieval castle i've seen in a long time. also pop over to beaucaire and make sure to visit nearby towns like avignon and st-remy. not massive amounts in tarascon itself other than the fab castle so it's not a huge tourist destination |

HI Hostel TarasconAn old Provencal house, the hostel is 5 minutes walk from the city centre, and 1km from the train station. It makes a good base for exploring nearby touristic cities: Arles, Nimes and Avignon. At the doorstep of the Alpilles and the Camargue countryside, it is an ideal base for hiking and cycling (please note that some trails are closed in July and August, due to forest fire risk).... Accommodation is in 4-12 bedded rooms and facilities include a self-catering kitchen. | more...... |
