Wont say this is budget but they had excellent food here - Le Gluber Also Kehl which is right across the bridge lets you deliciate in excellent Apfelstrudel! |

Kehl, across the bridge. If you go there around xmas the xmas mkt is smashing. Walking along the river or taking the river cruise, which gives you a great insight on Strasbourg |

If it is a hot, sunny day, I suggest going to one of the baggersee lakes (old quarries that have been turned into swimming holes), quite pleasant. |
