I went on the 'Good Morning Stockholm' boat trip which was great for a feeling of getting out of the city without taking up too much of the day- the guide was very interesting.

Get a Stockholm card, best thing we did, ended up saving quite a bit of money. Go to the palace and all the areas that go with it. Do a bike tour, good fun and you learn a heap.

Stockholm `Chapman Boat and House' hostel offers you a unique hostelling experience. Be inspired with one of HI's 'hostels with a difference' - a boat hostel! This old sailing ship hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Sweden, and one of five hostels in the Stockholm area. Here you will find one of the most famous landmarks in the city overlooking the Gamla Stan (the Old Town) and the Royal Palace. Please note the beds are allocated in two locations - the boat hostel and the hostel building adjacent to the boat.
