25 May 2009 Candice, Canada:
Just north of Max Euesplein (spelling incorrect) is a pancake place (serves more than pancakes) but they have a variety of sweet and savoury pancakes that were very yummy (try the apple bacon). They have more choices than the tourist pancake spot near the American Hotel. I can't recall the name but it has a brown wood/country interior. Don't bother with the Hard Rock Cafe if you can help it. On a Thursday night alone there was a 1.5 hour wait and the food was expensive (think $16 CDN for a cocktail). |

The Erotic Museum, and Amsterdam Sex Museum, the Hemp and Marijuana Museum, the Van Gogh/Rjikmuseum gift shop on Museumplein, a canal cruise (touristy, but worth it), and, of course, the red light district. |
