The Stavanger Mosvangen Hostel is located in a beautiful park and recreation area next to lake Mosvangen, a popular area for walking and hiking. It’s 3km from the vibrant city of Stavanger, and provides easy access to the region's main attractions. The hostel comprises of two buildings - 'Mosvangen', which has 20 rooms and includes the reception, TV room, laundry, common room and kitchen, and 'Solborg', a building normally home to students during the school year, which has rooms of various sizes, all with shower and toilet, and a small guest kitchen on each floor. All guests have free access to the Internet. Stavanger Mosvangen Hostel is 100m from the nearest bus-stop and is a great starting point to experience some of Norway’s nature at its finest. Walk the 3km trail around lake Mosvangen; visit the Pulpit Rock, also known as Prekestolen, a 604m high cliff above the Lysefjorden fjord; or take a boat trip along the Lysefjorden fjord and marvel at the rock faces that fall near vertically over 1000m into the water. | more......
