Taking a boat on the Red Sea for either snorkling or Diving. All day, lunch and beverages included; 3 stops for diving or snorkling along various coral reefs. Recommend Diversland....very professional staff, safe, and reasonably priced! |

El Mercato - has a number of Western restaurants.....for local cuisine, El Masraeen (at the old market) is reasonably priced and has great food (great kebab!); for very local food check out The Chef in the old market. Many locals eat here and it is great food! |

Alf Leila wa Leila in Hadaba.....great cultural entertainment. They have a dinner show for a fee; but for a low admission price they have a whole show of belly dancing, whirling dirvishes, etc. Very well done! |

Alf Leila Wa Leila (in Hadaba as well......beautiful Moroccan style establishment, local show of dancing included with admission (but starts later in the evening!), options for sound and light show with or without dinner at Alf Leila as well. |

Snorkling or Diving.....Diver's Land is a great company out of Naama Bay. (Find them attached to Naama Inn on the main road where the taxi's line up at the Marina). Good prices, great staff (they are friendly but aren't out to pick up the foreign women!), and are concerned with safety and serving customers. |

Il Mercato....a 10 minute walk down the road in front of the hostel....many fast food restaurants and coffee shops there. |

Try the southwest end of the bay for a free place to lie in the sun and snorkel. There's a beautiful new mosque on the way to the new bus station. |

scuba diving at Divers International they take care to pick you up at the airport and if you send a mail to me pladijs@hotmail.com you can get a discount of 25 a 30 % You can use the beach of Sofitel for free for swimming and snorkeling when you dive there. |

Breakfast is included in the hostel rate, and dinner there costs 16 Egyptian pounds. El Masrien downtown serves cheap, tastier dishes, but write down what you eat; they tend to pad your bill with a few Egyptian pounds. |
