Warning: Try to stay away from fresh, pale strawberries, sold at Century square, on the corner by the 7-11, near Giordano's (#3 stop of the red sightseeing bus) they may give you food poisoning :| |

Their breakfast is a great deal-you can choose 6 items-western or chinese for only 20rmb. But beware-it's not quite what you think you're ordering: a muffin was a waffle w/ nothing on it unless you requested (whip cream), & french toast was plain toast & they didn't have jelly. The ham i'm pretty sure was spam... Across the river we loved Costa coffee shop-had great sandwiches & salads. Nothing remotely close to the hostel was affordable-don't even try. |

Of course the Pearl Tower-did 2 out of 3 levels & was everyone's fav. Did the sci. mus. & was torn -some things great-many things not operational (as many places in china, sad to say). The ferry is super cheap & basically right across the street from the hostel. |
