Tignes YH (up the valley), also excellent and can easily get to the Espace Killy ski area by foot. Also visit Sainte-Foy Tarentaise (between Séez and Tignes/Val d'Isère), pretty traditional village with small but very varied (and uncrowded) ski area a few km beyond the village at Ste-Foy station (Bon Conseil).
