The nearby lakes have a variety of walks to partake in. On the right a low level path, whilst on the left you can engage in some wild walks in the forrest, all routes marked and superb adventure. |

HI Hostel SarpsborgSarpsborg Hostel is beautifully situated close to the lake, Tunevannet. The hostel, which is constructed in timber, has a special and pleasant atmosphere. In 2009, a large part of the hostel was refurbished. The dining room was enlarged and it can now accommodate 80 people. 5 rooms was also renovated with shower and toilet and another 5 new rooms with shower and toilet was built. The hostel entrance is also new. Sarpsborg is Norway´s third oldest town - founded in 1016 by St. Olav. Sights in Sarpsborg are; Borgarsyssel museum, the manor Hafslund Hovedgård, rock carvings and iron age burial mounds. | more...... |
