If you are going through Mostar, it's worth stopping overnight - I didn't and wish I had, but I was able to spend a few hours there.

Sarajevo is not a place for running around with a heavy agenda. Go to Baščaršija have a nice Bosnian coffee, read some books, watch the people, pigeons and life around you. Take some peaceful walks around the mountains, small villages...
