Fogon de Jovel was a great restaurant, not super cheap but reasonable and worth what you get. It's traditional Chiapas foods, great atmosphere (as long as you don't mind a little smoke from the fogon), and waiters wear traditional costume. They serve a complimentary sampler appetizer with guacamole, queso, frijoles, salsa, and fresh tortillas...yummy! Then we split a tamale sampler with five different tamales. YUMMY! Including drinks and tip, I think we came in around 130 pesos, not bad for two people. And it's near the centro.
