After Stockholm I got the XL2000 fast train to Malmo and crossed the bridge in Copenhagen, Denmark. The whole took around 4 hours but Stockholm-Copenhagen is easily accessible in a day. One of the guys in our cabin got the Viking boat from Stockholm to Helsinki which he said was a 16 hour trip for 36 euro.

This old sailing ship hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Sweden, and one of five hostels in the Stockholm area.
