The restaurant recommended by one of the staff was really good and good value for money and in nice location.I had a big platter of Spaghetti Bologness and glass of red wine for 10 euro.The hostel also has good 3course evening meal,with coke or orange for 10 Euro.

Don't miss seeing the 20,000 year old gorge where the varonnes waterfall was created by erosion,it is a short bus ride from the hostel. 2.Just wander around Riva in the parks and chill out on the many shaded benches,many overlooking the lake.3.very easy to take a bus and see neighbouring villages from Riva del Garda
