Oddly enough, Rijeka has very little to offer in terms of budget meals. If you're not into fast food, get to the supermarket early on and have something at the hostel, beahc or the castle. |

| HI Hostel Rijeka - Youth Hostel Rijeka The hostel is surrounded by a park and a playground. It is very close to beautiful beaches, parks, tennis courts, a volleyball court and a scuba diving club. Near the hostel there are grocery shops, cafes and a newspaper stand as well as a large shopping centre.
