Tur`kebab has really good kebabs for a nice price. There is a resturant right across the street of the mall "Origo" that lies abaot 200 metres from the hostel, and one by the mall Gallerija in the Old Town. An other place is "Wilhelms Pankukas" who have really good food for a suitable price. Wilhelms lies close the Doma Square/Laukums in the Old Town.

The old town in generell is a "dont miss". To get an overview and sort of an intrance, go to the monument of liberty. Also the beach in Jurmala is great. Jurmala lies about 30 minutes by train from Riga. The train station is located in the mall Origo, close to the hostel.

It is great to live in Jurmala as well, and you can find hostels there too. I and my family has lived in "Riga beach hostel" there.
