Don't miss... 07 Jan 2011 Adam, Australia:
Blue lagoon is on everyones list it was beautiful even in the cold. For a cheaper option ask around for geothermal hot pots not far from town. The lacal swimming pools are easy to find, cheap and a warm place to socialize in evenings. Golden circle was worth the day trip. It was the perfect time of year and weather conditions for seeing the northern lights but they were nowhere to be found. Don't get your heart set on them and be prepared to head out of town a couple of consecutive nights to try and spot them.
