HI Hostel Reykjavík Downtown

Reykjavík Downtown Hostel has firmly established itself as one of the most highly recommended HI Hostels in the world, providing comfortable and classy accommodation and excellent service at an affordable price. It is nestled a stones throw from the lively harbor area, in the heart of downtown Reykjavík, within minutes from most of Reykjavík’s bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants, yet in a quiet residential street. It has been an Eco certified place to stay since 2010. The hostel facilities include Free Wi-Fi in all rooms and lounges, free computer access, book exchange, a coffee bar and a fully equipped kitchen and lounge. Free luggage storage during stay and long term storage on request. Our mostly organic breakfast buffet is a good start to the day. Free movie nights and music events are hosted in the lobby on a regular basis. Reykjavík Downtown hostel boasts spacious 4 and 10 bed dorms, all with lockers included, family rooms that accommodate up to 5 persons, and double rooms with shared or private facilities. All double rooms come with linen included. Female only dorms and single rooms are available upon request.
