02 Nov 2008 Lucas, Canada:
Just wander around downtown on a friday or Saturday night and listen for the big parties or pick up a little booklet that tells you what's happening in the clubs. There are some places like Cafe Rosenberg that have live music during the week as well. |

Walk on the ice side! Take a walk on a glacier |

02 Nov 2008 Lucas, Canada:
Rent a car, 3 or 4 people, and drive out on the golden circle tour yourself. It's super cheap and the freedom makes it that much more enjoyable (no rushing to get back to the bus). You need a GOOD road map, a guide book, a good navigator and a spare driver or a thermos of coffee. |

|
01 Nov 2008 Emily, England & Wales:
Taking your own food! It will save you a fortune..and as the kitchens are so user friendly you can then spend time socialising with other travellers as you cook! |

The Golden Circle Tour on a clear day, the views are just breathtaking. Mustnt miss Blue Lagoon and try and do a full 8/9 hours walking around the city centre taking in the sights..you dont need to get the bus anywhere really, its all walkable from the hostel! |
