Rennes is quite expensive for food and drink but if you follow the "formules" at lunch time and evenings it's cheaper. All restaurants are lovely and there is an abundance of creperies to be found! |

Quimper, really nice friendly city for a night or two to get away from tourists. Pont Aven (the city of painters) is a gorgeous little town easily accessable from Quimper by bus. |

| HI Hostel Rennes The hostel is very close to the Eurolines bus terminal and just 15 minutes from the city centre. With capacity for 440 guests it is the largest hostel in France and offers impressive facilities including a free cinema, four internet terminals, a bar, a cafe and a laundry. Children under 18 staying unaccompanied at the hostel will need an authorization from a parent or guardian.
