02 Feb 2010 Alan, USA:
If headed south to Buenos Aires, stop at San Ignacio to visit the ruins of a Jesuit mission there and a museum. If you can get in to Paraguay, also stop at Posadas, cross the river to Encarnacion, and visit the extensive ruins of two Jesuit missions near by, at Trinidad and Jesus. Trinidad has the best preserved and most extensive ruins, but unfortunately does not have a museum, and most of the information is only available in Spanish. |

Iguazu falls, on both the Brazilian & Argentinian sides but don't do the boat trip under the falls on Argentinian side as it is very disappointing and NOT value for money. |
