Definitely Termas Geometricas in Calafquen Lake (near Lican Ray) is a no miss. Probably a 2-2 1/2 hour trip but definitely worth it for one of the best spots on earth. |

Best spots in town for eating are Viva Peru and Atumalal, although not on budget. If so, go to Café de la P. |

HI Hostel Pucón - Refugio PenínsulaThis destination is located in the southeast part of the region. It offers international tourist opportunities, both for the quality and variety of the tourist resources and because it is well equipped. It is set around the Villarrica, Huilipilún, Colico, Caburgua and Calafquén Lakes, and by the route that connects us with the Republic of Argentina through the border pass of Mamuil Malal. Its landscape is very beautiful, with green vegetation, hills, national parks, and the most important landmark, the stunning Villarrica Volcano. It includes, additionally, the city centres of Villarrica, Pucón and Lican Ray, all of them with a great tourist character. All these places are worth a mention amongst the tourist attractions of thermal and recreational activities. | more...... |
