This was my fourth visit to Paris and my first time to walk the Catacombs -- quite a historical experience -- and then to see in the same Montparnasse neighborhood the Antoine Bourdelle Museum which is just an awesome place. |

One good thing that we did was visit Giverny - Claude Monet's house and The palace of Versailles. The gardens are gorgeous and definitely is worth a visit. Giverny in October is picturisque and pretty. A different experience from the metro Paris! We had 4 days and gave Louvre a miss and did the Montemarte (evening), Latin Quarter (evening). For a retail experience , pls give Gallerie Lafayette a miss, instead do Marais, St Germaine, Champs Elysees ( visit it for the hype), Montemarte... |
