great indian/pakistani snack in the street between the republique metro and the boulevard ferry..not expensive at all.. good indian curry and great kebab with indian bread just removed from the tandoor(indian oven)!!

if you want to cook in the kitchenette of the hostel, you can buy everything you need on the jules ferry boulevard. there is a supermarket named lidl in front of the hostel and another smaller one called carrefour city just the street down.
