01 May 2009 Justin, USA:
Boucherie saguet: get your own meat or saucisson from this place... make a nice sandwich. Also La Clichoise for bread, pastries... high quality and inexpensive... Casino supermarket for their frozen Paella Royale... good stuff . The rotisserie nearby has Tomates Farcies and poulet grillade... excellent value and quality... Clichy has all the good stuff on rue Landy and blvd Jean Jaures I get a baguette at La Clichoise, some Saucisson from Boucherie Saguet, some Maille mustard from Casino, and some goodies from the Rotisserie, and make my own sandwiches in sitting in front of the church or in front of the Hotel de Ville. If you have a pocket knife, keep in mind that the police don't like it so use it quickly to slice your bread and saucisson and "bon appetit".. Oh, btw, if you don't have a good folding german knife, you can buy a good one for a good price at the cutlery shop on Avenue Clichy between Porte de Clichy and La Fourche... |
